Had the idea to ask the participant of my space to wear a motorbike helmet as they walk around the space. This may at first appear a health and safety precautions but also serves another purpose, it will be fitted with a small bluetooth speaker inside which will play sounds only the current participant  can hear,  retaining the element of surprise for future participants waiting outside.

sounds I plan on including are everyday sounds such as a dog barking or car alarm demonstrating the relationship between sound and  sight with  a visual impairment, creating a sense of unease. I am currently unsure how well this would work especially trying to wear the helmet in space. I will speak a tutor about  this and then decided what to do with the helmet later
