Today I had a tutorial with Andrea where I talked about my mirror plinth which I have now decide to call a mirror column as after talking to Andrea about the job of a plith is to have something placed on top of it and draw attention to that object, however my decision to have the plinth empty, causes it to be the centre of attention and becomes a column. Andrea also commented on how professionally made it looked making me realise how important it is to get the glass cut the exact size needed. I spend some time with Andrea arranging my collection of mirrors I had including the column my circular mirror and a tall thin mirror I had made in case one on the column broke, Andrea commented that the mirrors works best when they are interacting with each other and changing the space.I decided to make more mirrored shapes over Easter and and bring them together in the project space that I had booked for after the Easter holiday.
