Tate Modern visit

visited Tate Modern for the start of a new project, went around the gallery trying to find one piece of work that stood out to me to be used as a starting point for the project

Chosen work “Mediterranee” by Ellsworth Kelly (1952)

I was attracted to this work as I walked into a room as it stood out due to the bold colours particularly the red and yellow.

looking closer at the works  i saw that the work isn’t flat and that some colours such as the red are raised which, to me made the colours stand out more.

As i walked around the piece different colours stood out more depending on where I stood while the red initially stood out as i entered on the left side of the piece walking across to the right the focus changed to the white on the opposite side.
